Baton, or hands?
As a conductor Kerry Roebuck strives to communicate the emotional intentions of the music through his gestures. Some pieces need pin-point accuracy and extended control that come hand in hand with the use of a baton. However, other works are more expressive and closer to the heart and can only be communicated through the wrists, the palm and the fingers.
